PURPOSE
     Promote organized court-play and maximum participation

PRAYER
     Both teams will pray together on the court prior to the game

UNIFORMS
     Vest or pennies are permissible
     No jewelry
     Fingernails must be trimmed

GAME LENGTH
     Four 12 minute running time quarters
     Two minute break between quarters
     Five minute break at half time
     Overtime will be two minutes
     Third overtime will be Sudden Death (first team to score)

RULES
     All CIF rules - referees may be flexible with younger teams
     No 30-second clock
     Back-court will be called
     One - one minute time-out per half (game clock is stopped)
     No roster submissions
     Fouls will be called but not recorded
     Coaches are responsible for controlling players who disrupt the spirit and rhythm of the game with      excessive: reaching-in, holding, pushing, throwing elbows etc.
     Zero tolerance - disrespect towards referee, inappropriate language, hostile hehavior, or dangerous fouls
     No free throws - obvious shooting fouls are worth the value of the shot (2 or 3 pts)
     No full, or half-court press
     No fast-break for a team that has a twenty-point lead
     Court communication should be done solely through the coaches and never the players. Complaints by      the players to the referee may result in a technical foul.

PERSPECTIVE
     Doing you best is giving 100% effort with a positive attitude for the good of the team.
